Isidra is the main character of a new, short series that I'm working on, set in my fantasy realm now called "Riarda". In the land of Riarda, many of the humanoid races has employed objects known as "Dullahans", large magically driven suits of armor piloted by people (yes, I am fully aware that this is not the actual Dullahan legend, but its my original made up world, I'll do what I want with it, so there ). Isidra, however is special. A dullahan smith sought to create a sentient dullahan, as spoken of in stories of a great war that occured a few decades ago, one that was capable of moving on its own, without a pilot, and possessed free will. Isidra was the result of his efforts. Sadly, the smith died before being able to complete Isidra's body when his lab was attacked. Isidra pretended to simply be an incomplete, inert dullahan, until months later, when 2 adventurers wandered into the lab and out of curiosity performed the finishing touches to complete Isidra, activating her. Now she travels with the two of them in search of her "father's" killers.
