There's this thing that's been going on on 4chan's traditional gaming board called "Ruby Quest" a sort of interactive adventure game in the style of King's Quest, or Monkey Island. One person "Weaver" draws out pictures of scenery and characters and then has them do what the collective hive mind of /tg/ tells them to. It is awesome, and one of the coolest things I've seen spawn from 4chan since ENIS
[link] all threads have been archived here, I suggest you read them (feel free to skip any post that isn't headed by the name "Weaver") Anyway, something about Ruby Quest sparked in me the desire to do fanart, and lots of it. I'm only going to upload my Super Ruby Wars series, where I converted all the characters to mecha, then threw them into a Super Robot Wars style image. |
